Glad you made it back allright, what weapons are those in the pics? They look somewhat similiar to the Steyr AUG, but I'm not very smart when it comes to guns, I just know the steyr aug from css =[.

Well, according to the pictures, they are F88 Austeyr assault rifles, modified Steyr AUGs for use by the Australian armed forces which can be seen with 40mm grenade launchers on some pictures.

I also saw a F89 Minimi (Ze Aussie M249) somewhere.

Well done Dark. I think the biggest clue though came from my signature down there.

All weapons in the section have BAe Night Aiming Device laser designators, used with our night vision goggles (the lasers are IR- can't be seen with the naked eye or Gen 1 II tubes) and I have an Elcan made Wildcat 3.5x Ehanced Optic Sight (the normal Austeyr sights are 1.5x) as I'm the 1st Scout in the section, and need the extra observation capability, and I'm also the designated marksman for any precision targets that need to be taken out (ie a target in the middle of a crowd).

Nice. Good to see our HLFallouters are in one piece. I'll guess where you are. Afghanistan?

Hall's part of RAMSI, a regional assistance mission to the Solomon Islands. He, along with 40 other personnel of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Tonga are there to assist the Solomon Islands' Government to restore law and order.
