Nothing is secure anymore, not even your wifi.

The vulnerability is aptly named KRACK (stands Key Reinstallation Attack) and attacks the poorly implemented random number generator, found in most consumer routers, when a router first negotiates a secure connection with your laptop/phone/dish washer.

Quote

That said, this isn't a world-ending Armageddon in the way the botnet of webcams was. You will only be vulnerable if an attacker is within range of your router, and you will still be secure if you're accessing secure websites. However, turning off Wi-Fi on your phone, relying on mobile data, not ignoring HTTPS cert warnings, and plugging into an Ethernet port might not be a bad idea.

Read it here on Hackaday

Start disabling your wifi and start using ethernet cables!

Just reiterates the needs for encrypted communications like HTTPS and what not.

Hi guys this has been an issue with computers for a long time. I recently discovered my pc was 'hacked' or being monitored when i found program files named dllhost. I also found an article that states all windows computers come pre installed with spyware and runs as svchost. https://github.com/t...er/Angel%20Fire

Ive long suspected svchost but the dllhost is new to me. Do any of you also have these program's running in the background?

Sorry about the late and sarcastic response from my members.

Dllhost is normal, its part of the windows operating system. It should be fine.
